If TOntoN has written about you
Last updated
TOntoN analyses companies. Because a company's vision is inseparable from the people who hold and articulate it, our analysis identifies and assesses the founders, executives and named public voices associated with a company. If you are one of them, this page is for you — and you did not have to sign up for anything to be here.
Who is responsible
The controller is TeOnto, the registered commercial name of Pooyan Ramezani Besheli, a Belgian sole trader. Full registration details are at the foot of this page.
Where your data came from
Some of it we found ourselves, from public sources. Some of it a customer gave us, and they are responsible for that material:
- The company's own website and pages our crawler fetched from it.
- Public articles, interviews, press coverage, blog posts and careers pages.
- Public web-search results.
- LinkedIn profile data, retrieved through a third-party intermediary — never by scraping LinkedIn ourselves — for a profile identified as belonging to a named vision-bearer.
- Material a customer pasted or uploaded, which they warranted they had the right to submit.
What we hold, and what we generate
Typically your name; your role and the company you are associated with; your public professional profile including LinkedIn URL, headline and photo where available; publicly available contact details; quotations and evidence attributed to you from public material; and machine-generated scores and commentary assessing how the vision is articulated. We do not infer anything about your health, politics, religion, sexuality or private life, we do not track your behaviour over time, and we never run face recognition or image matching.
Why we are allowed to
Our legal basis is legitimate interests. Investors, analysts and advisers need a structured, evidence-linked reading of what a company and its leadership have publicly said; the analysis cannot be done without recording who said what, because attribution is the evidence. We use only material published professionally, the output is visible inside one customer's workspace and is never published, sold or used for advertising, and you can object. Our balancing assessment is documented and available to the Belgian Data Protection Authority on request.
Who sees it, and for how long
Only the customer whose workspace the analysis ran in, and anyone they share a report with. Reports are not public. We keep the material while the analysis exists in that workspace. If you object successfully we remove it from active analyses and take reasonable steps to keep it from being picked up again.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can object to this processing, ask what we hold, have it corrected or erased, or ask us to restrict it while a dispute is resolved. Write to us with your name and, if you have it, the company or report concerned. We acknowledge on receipt, respond within one month, and action valid objections and erasure requests within 14 days. If we refuse we tell you why.
Complaints
You can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority at any time — Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be — or to the supervisory authority where you live or work.
